| Nestled in the scenic
Chautauqua Hills, Sedan offers the best in small town living. Founded
in 1876, Sedan was once the largest cattle shipping point in the
world! Today it is home to 1400 residents and a destination for
50,000 tourists each year. Our growing retail trade includes
galleries, antique shops, a stained glass studio, a coffee bar and several
gift shops.
Sedan is home to the Emmett Kelly Museum, The
Redbud Festival and The
Yellow Brick Road Festival. The entire downtown area is
encircled with over 10,000 inscribed yellow bricks, representing every
state in the U.S. and 30 foreign countries. A special section
honors our brave American veterans. We'd love to have you come
visit us in Sedan. Map
